Bone Deep Charlie Le Mindu has coiffed, primped and cropped some of europe’s brightest celebrities such as Veruska and Grace Jones. Le Mindu has also worked with John Waters and Jean Paul Gaultier and during fashion week he gave a hair show at a fringe event but this image really gives the proper stamp to the spirit of Fashion Week in the UK.
Fashion in europe can be far more adventurous than here in the US so let’s take a look at some of the more colorful cast of fashion players….UK style!

Sessilee Lopez is on the fast track to becoming the new face of the season. Naomi better watch her back because Sessilee is changing the face of fashion in a major way. Sessilee is a native of the Dominican Republic and who was rumored to have been discovered by Oscar de la Renta himself. She also has the attention of Anna Wintour who recently came back stage to greet her (minus the signature shades).
With layouts in Teen Vogue, New York Magazine, and one of the historic covers of Vogue Italia’s all Black girl issue , Sessilee is clearly a girl to watch at the ripe old age of 20. While some stores are closing and thinking of ways to scale back, Armani was opening a beautiful and massive new store on Fifth Ave. The Armani store opening was such a high point during Fashion Week. How much of a high point was it? Well VIctoria Beckham showed up coat less and dressed only in a sequined silver mini dress ready to survey the exclusive new store. Everyone from John Mayer to Leo Dicaprio came out to toast the fashion legend.
Peta was also in full force and a testament to the fact that fashion extravagance at this level is clearly a threat to more moderate perspectives.

Rachel’s getting married!Hollywood starlet Rachel Bilson cause a photo feeding frenzy the second she landed in New York City to attend a few shows for fashion week. Gossip mongers were telling tales of Rachel’s engagement ring from her longtime boyfriend and Jumper co-star Hayden Christensen. Rachel’s handlers were quick to dismiss any questions about the fabled engagement ring but the question remains did Hayden “Put a ring on it?”. Clearly Rachel is taking her cues from Beyonce Knowles in trying to out fox the paps. ‘Ring-gate” continued both outside and inside of the tents with Rachel building even more interest into her status on the wedding front. But despite Rachel’s best efforts at diversion Fashionland has learned that Rachel is indeed engaged to Hayden.

Proenza Schouler must have done something right because their show attracted not only The LA it girl Nicole Richie but also Downtown’s elusive Mary-Kate Olsen. Not only did the two style icons sit together they seemed to genuinely enjoy each others company and whisper to each other about what must have been the most choice gossip. Nicole also made her way over to the W Lounge to hang with Downtown Cool Kids Ricky and Dee.
But back in LA with boyfriend Joel Madden it became clear what may have been the content of Nicole’s and Mary Kate’s confidential whispers. Looks like Richie is going to be a mom again. Nicole and Joel are expecting their second child and recently made the announcement via their website. Count on Nicole’s personal style staying firmly in tact.
