Joining James were Anna Sui, and Andrew Bolton. “James started out making hats for Anna Sui but he is the only designer who can make new outfits really look like vintage but with one big difference they are not falling apart and they don’t smell like mothballs or mildew!”

Halloween is almost here and this image really captures how we over at Hotel Fashionland feel about this ghoulish tradition. Dressing up can be fun if you are subversive and have a creative approach to this very special day. Vice Magazine is giving a massive Halloween extravangaza that a few editors here have been invite to and this image really speaks to our darker inclinations. Hopefully this picture inspires you to get into the act or at the very least want to watch Trick or Treat which is currently available on DVD.

People have accused Diddy of many things but being an original has never been one of them. However, when it comes to being an “Attention Whore” Diddy is numero uno and internationally known. Only an attention whoring mogul would spend his money producing a solo CD that has him now “singing” over familiar rap beats. We gave this “artistic” vampire a pass when Biggie died but his pass has been revoked…..years ago. Diddy’s more recent media whoring can be observed almost as soon as he arrived in Rio de Janeiro when he tried to “hide his identity when he came off his flight dressed in his traditional black sweat suit and matching Croc’s. But his whorish behavior on the Fasano Hotel balcony really speaks for itself. The ego has landed. Only in Fashionland kids.

Rihanna launched her new single ‘Russian Roulette’ the multi-platinum selling artist announces the completion of her fourth studio album, Rated R, scheduled for release on Monday, 23 November 2009. ok, that’s cool. Now when can we see the video?

Speaking of video’s… Chris Brown was caught filming a music video for his new song “Crawl”. While Rihanna filmed a music video in New York City on Friday night, Chris Brown was simultaneously filming his music video with a Rihanna Look-A-Like in Downtown Los Angeles. Most of the scenes on Friday night involved him singing and dancing with his RIRI-double! Sounds like a Brian Depalma film. Anyone?
