HAIR GIMMICKS ‘R’ US

What American Idol is very good at is offering a satisfying television experience. Train wreck TV for American Idol however is not confined to just the auditions but can also be found in the transformations of the singers from week and week and this season is no exception. Let’s take Adam Lambert for example.
Adam’s singing is so forgettable that I can’t even remember it by the end of the show and in between Abdul’s incoherent praises of his performances it’s very hard to remember much about Adam at all. What you can’t forget however is Adam Lambert’s douche bag hair style. When Adam is on stage he is constantly adjusting his synthetic purple highlighted bangs out of his eyes and his singing really becomes an after thought. What you are always thinking about is why the hell did he do that shit to his hair???? Gender equality is still a huge issue in America but some men need to be men and leave these types of hairstyles to Fantasia and Pete Wentz.
But the American people love a gimmick (remember Sarah Palin) and I personally think people are interested to see what he comes up with (in terms of the hair) each week (Sanjayah anyone?).  Well we over at Fashionland wish nothing but the best for Adam and hey if he wins maybe he will get a Pantene Pro-V commercial (it could happen).
Hair gimmicks “work” with mixed results on American Idol and here is a gallery of some of the worst hair violations to date. Formulas work and we are not talking about Alberto Vo5 Hot Oil.

Oh my god! Do you have nothing better to do other then to insult a hot guy’s singing and his hair? And, I’ll have you know, Adam is actually the favorite to win this season, and I hope he does. He’s a sexy sweetheart and you know it!

can you imagine if everyones hair was like Anoop’s? plain and stupid. it would be boring. and obviously adam’s performances arent “forgettable” because he has the biggest fan base of all the american idol contestants, check the website.

You have lost your mind!! Adam is far from forgettable. With or without the hairstyles. Although, I happen to like the hairstyles very much and I for one think Adam puts Pete Wentz to shame!
