Britney Spears much anticipated Circus tour kicked off at the New Orleans Arena last Tuesday night to a nearly sold out crowd. Few can grasp that it’s been half a decade since we last saw Brit Brit on the road “singing” live and performing the songs that made her a pop sensation. Could Britney avoid the train wreck that was her 2007 MTV Music Awards appearance? Is our former pop tart still frosted on both sides? It’s really hard for the editors at Fashionland to really give you a clear answer on the State of Britney Spears. If appearances count for anything (and at Fashionland they clearly do) we can happily report that Britney was definitely PRESENT during her Circus “extravaganza. Yes, her singing was prerecorded and her dancing robotic but come on do you really go to a Britney concert for the singing and dancing ? NO!
So let’s get to what’s really important! The Costumes!
The Costumes of the Circus show left us with this feeling of Deja Vu. Not that we expected any originality for Britney but come on???? Here is a gallery of images Britney borrowed from other super stars which left us with the feeling that what’s OLD is not really NEW.
