Once the beautiful AND popular Lauren Santo Domingo arrived for HF the prescription Rx was complete.  Not a headache in sight!  There is no doubt art can cure a lot of ills and certainly causes none!  The 2011 annual RxArt co-chaired by Jen Brill, Poppy Delevingne, Leigh Lezark, Caroline Sieber and Vanessa Traina sponsored by CHANEL Beauté.

The evening included a host of entertaining guest DJs, Leo Fitzpatrick and Cassie Coane and an exclusive auction featuring some of the most sought after names in contemporary art.  This year’s unveiled the third edition of the coloring book Between The Lines with full cover art created by artist Rob Pruitt. Rob Pruitt was inspired by shades from the CHANEL Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick collection which he incorporated into the cover artwork. RxArt’s coloring books are given to children in participating health care facilities.

Meandering thru the packed party was one of the most relevant Artist/Toy-makers in Soho and everywhere.  If you are an aficionado of the Kid Robot phenomenon you will immediately recognize the name… KAWS. (above: Jen Brill, Derek Blasberg and Lazaro Hernandez)

You can buy an ORIGINAL FAKE oh, what the hell I don’t know what it is but THIS on ebay now! Somewhat elusive and not known to hug the spotlight… Here is (I’m thinking) a fairly rare Portrait… thank you very much!
