Thanks to her signature bangs, bohemian sensibility, and quirky, vintage style not to mention her fashion and music royalty BFFs Kate Moss and Sean Lennon model Irina Lazareanu has made a lasting impression on the fashion world.

The Romanian-born stunner was studying ballet in London when she met musician Pete Doherty. The rocker in turn introduced the dark beauty to Moss, and the two models became fast friends. Irina’s career took off when Moss, who was guest editing an issue of French Vogue at the time, picked her for a coveted fashion spread: Irina started to get booked for every major show, including Prada and Dior, and quickly rose to style stardom. But even though she has played muse to Karl Lagerfeld and Nicolas Ghesquière, it’s Irina’s embrace of her inner rocker that will keep this catwalk queen in the public eye for years to come. She and Lennon collaborated on her upcoming folk album Some Place Along the Way, which this musical model debuted during a special performance for Chanel in the winter of 2007. Whatever her next step may be, Irina proves that true fashion rocks.
