When Snooki and the Jersey Shore crew took off to Italy they were immediately met with hostility. Officials in Florence had already banned the crew from shooting at some of the most famous locations in the Renaissance city, including the renowned Uffizi gallery and the sculpture-filled Boboli Gardens.

It got so bad that Mayor Matteo Renzi also declared the show’s stars must not be filmed in bars and clubs that serve alcohol and must not be filmed drinking in public. He said he wanted the show to promote Italy and feature its culture, traditions and good food not the trashy Jersey shore crew.

But the Mayor has never encountered an experienced attention whore named Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.

Snooki played with puppets, fell down in the street (often), wrecked a car (complete with fake neck brace) all in a plea to get some love from the indifferent Italian public. Here are a collection of images that show an attention whore at work and on a mission for some desperate street love. SMH!
