Balmain showed at the Grand in Paris and was easy to explain. Christophe Decarnin did punk — and not even an improvised version of the ’70s look, but a dead-straight one, with safety pins piercing leather and frayed denim, and slashed T-shirts looking laundered and dirty as the Sex Pistols played.- NY TIMES.com
