Hot Costume National Opening at Saks Fifth Ave

It was an “electric blue” affair last night at the reception for the debut of Costume National at Saks NY on Two. Host Stella Schnabel, who’s currently starring in the movie “Miral” with Frieda Pinto, was pop-art chic in a bold electric blue silk blazer, a signature color inspiration from the 2011 Spring / Summer collection for Costume National by Ennio Capasa, who was on hand to celebrate the occasion. Singer/songwriter Martha Wainwright’s deeply soulful acoustic performance captivated guests including artist Marina Abramovic, Pippa Cohen publisher Martine Assouline, designers Loris Diran, Khirma Eliazov, Malcolm Harris, Suzanne Rae Pelaez, & socialite Arden Wohl. Lorca Cohen (Leonard’s daughter) also attended with 2 month old baby Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen.
