October 23rd, 2009 by Hotel Fashionland received Comments OffUS fashion designer and now film director Tom Ford waves to a gathering fans at Tokyo’s Isetan department store on October 20, 2009. Ford is attending the prestigious Tokyo Film Festival where his latest movie “A Single Man” is showing.
The film received a rave from VOGUE “Ford’s directorial debut poses a lot of questions surrounding love, loss, fear, friendship and the evolution of our society – but more than anything, the question the watcher keeps returning to is… Am I constantly thinking about fashion because I know Tom Ford directed this film, or because the film is so incredibly beautiful?” A Single man, starring Colin Firth is set in 1960′s Los Angeles.  Tom Ford boutique grand opened in Tokyo on October 20. Go TOM GO!!!
