Daytime darling: Lucas earned her big break on the venerable Aussie soap opera Home and Away, on which she starred for more than three years. After growing accustomed to her swelling fame Down Under, “I dyed my hair dark, dark brown and jiffied off to Europe,” she says. “I think that helped me slip under the radar.”
Her transformational coming of age… occurred after she played a bit part in The Pacific, the HBO mini-series produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. The role landed her an audition for Michael Bay mega-actioner, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen-she played Shia LaBeouf’s Princeton-coed girlfriend.
