INDOCHINE’S 25th ANNIVERSARY

New York, NY – November 21, 2009 – Indochine co-owners Jean-Marc Houmard, Michael Callahan and Huy Chi Le welcomed their loyal patrons, friends and family, to the infamous “banana leaf jungle†to celebrate 25 wild and memorable years.
The lavish “1920’s Shanghai†themed bash featured elaborately costumed drag performers, and entertainment by The Ones, Peppermint, Epiphany, Narcissister, and Raven O. For seven unbelievable hours, guests danced to tunes spun by several DJs in the multi level space including Nick Cohen, Belinda Becker, Rawdon, Coleman, Mess Kid, Donna D’Cruz, and Wanda Acosta, while go-go dancers spun on poles and in the giant birdcage. Throughout the evening, over 900 guests including, a swirl of celebrities, designers, artist, moguls and hipsters, partied in the iconic space on Lafayette Street.
