On its Remote Control blog, MTV said that shooting for Season 2 of “Jersey Shore” began this week in Miami, and would reunite the original cast members, including Jenni Farley, known as Jwoww, Nicole Polizzi, aka Snooki; Michael Sorrentino, known as The Situation; and Angelina Pivarnick (who bailed early on Season 1), before they return to their Jersey beach house later this year (“i.e. when the Jersey weather gets warmer,” MTV said).Â
Season 2 of “Jersey Shore” will have its premiere on July 29, so expect the protest letters to start arriving at MTV on July 30. NYT.com
