With the 2011 NBA season in serious peril because of a bitter lockout, the self proclaimed ‘King James’ took advantage of the time off to travel around China and meet with the locals and he did it with STYLE. Only Michael Jackson or Jordan could have whipped up the Chinese into such an epic celebrity FRENZY! ‘Shanghai I’m here people! Let’s go!!
Another great city in China,’ the professional basketball player from Ohio tweeted this morning. Yesterday the 26-year-old athlete was greeted by hundreds of fans in Xian and expressed his delight at the warm welcome so far from home.’Wow what an amazing crowd in Xian!! Love the passion these people have,’ James wrote, ‘Basketball never sleeps!’
