Back in the DAY High Top Fades were all the RAGE. The hair style was so distinct that Kid N Play became break out stars and a distinguishing element of that group was clearly Kid’s hair. Let’s be frank that hair was the most recognizable part of the group and the second that hair style went OUT OF STYLE so did interest in Kid and Play. Lil Twist’s hair is a modern take on the High Top with very subtle differences. HFL approves because Twist’s hair and irreverent style does make him stand apart from the Teen Hop crowd now only if his music was as interesting or innovative ……
