Music group we’re LOVING: Angus and Julia Stone

Angus and Julia Stone are two halves of a unique musical act whose specialty is story telling. The sibling due have always had music in their bloodline, and spent most their 20’s singing as individual artists. But it wasn’t until they paired up in 2006 that their reputation as talented narrators spread far and wide over Sydney, and very soon they were performing all over Australia’s capital and beyond. Their music can feel very different depending on which Stone is singing, but at the core of it all the music is folk mixed with velvety textures, lush arrangements and, faraway guitar and strings.
