Public School Spring 2013: Back to Basics and Casual COOL

September 13th, 2012 by Hotel Fashionland received Comments Off

For anyone crazy enough to stand in line at the absurdly overbooked Milk Studios (or diva enough to skip it) they found their reward in Public School’s sophisticated sophomore effort.

Back in session are the basics: skinny jeans, chambray shirts and some beautiful washed lamb biker gear. But this time the effect was softer and lighter, with a touch of understated refinement.

White balanced black with navy and grey in between, the various hues styled to perfection in a textural mélange that read “fashion” without slapping you in the face with it.

The bonus this season came in a few suiting options, all characteristically casual and cool enough to not render the tattooed set nonplused.  There you have it, another A+!
