Estelle Axton and Jim Stewart may not be as well known as berry Gordy but they do deserve the same attention. You know Motown but what do you know about Stax? Otis Redding, The Mar-Keys who later became Booker T and the MGs, Sam and Dave, Wilson Pickett, Isaac Hayes, etc. Good music and style for miles.
