The Oscars are about women.  Of course they are.  And for decades all that the world expected of men – even the famous ones – was to lurk like penguins in the background and stay out of the damn way.  On Sunday, something changed.  Of course there were the usual screwups, the try-too-hards, and the don’t-give-a-damns, but didn’t you find yourself… wanting one of those tuxedos?  

It wasn’t just because Tom Ford was dominating on and behind the scenes of the red carpet.  It’s because, for one year at least, the men put it together a little better.  The best part?  They didn’t even look like they tried to.  - Esquire.com
