NINA RICCI TAKES PARIS BY STORM

March 11th, 2009 by Hotel Fashionland received 1 Comment »

“I was thinking of a nocturnal mood,” he said backstage, trying to explain how he’d orchestrated it. “Not nightclubbing at all. Something moonlit—a bit  magical.”  Olivier Theyskens.

There is nothing like DRAMA to make a show interesting. Designer Olivier Theyskens is leaving the house of Nina Ricci but he is doing so with a very  dramatic BANG and a stunning collection! Rumors have been circulating for months  of  huge design differences between Theyskens and Mario Grauso, the head of  Puig Fashion Group, which owns Ricci. The word going around Paris is that Grauso actually fired Theyskens, whose contract isn’t up until Octotober.  But don’t cry for Theyskens like Tom Ford before him people are expecting much more from this very talented designer in the future.
