The Train & The Box is introducing buyers to the latest developments on the Nordic fashion scene with a showcase of some of the region’s most talented designers. Solveig Elton Jacobsen and her sister, Ashild Elton Jacobsen are the design team behind Norway’s Elton & Jacobsen, a street style collection with a hint of art and science fiction with a sporty twist. Finland’s fashion rock star Tiia Vanhatapio will showcase her self-titled collection of va va voom cocktail dresses with a rocker edge.  Sweden’s Ida Sjostedt created a collection with a tongue-and-cheek elegance for women who don’t take dressing up too seriously. Finally, Islaet, designed by Denmark’s Trine Jespers encompasses Scandinavian expression injected with diverse and colorful London influence.

“Our work and aim is to introduce, each season, to the buyers new trends and emerging market : Nordic Fashion is one of the most dynamic at this time. These designers are in the spotlight, they are very successful because in addition to being creative they are very conscious about what is needed in the market, have good price and amazing marketing to catch the consumers spirit. They are very creative brands and bring alternative to the fashion business between big chains and middle market.” Muriel Piaser, Fashion Manager of The Train & The Box
